Dave Pope, who holds everything at Country Eye together is an experienced manager, and like us all, a refugee from industry, he finds delight in everything, from the nightly sunset at the bottom of his garden, to the vegetables that he harvests from his allotment; from the songs of the birds at eventide, to the noisy beasts that are the Harley-Davidsons of his early years. Truly he is the cement that binds Country Eye together.
Jane Pope, whose craft skills know no bounds, from delicate crocheted babies’ shoes, handbags, scarves, gloves, even ear-rings, to the wizardry that tailors our pictures to produce cards and portraits from nature, all with that unique touch, that makes them ‘just for you.’ Everything she turns her hands to reflects her love for our matchless countryside in its widest sense. True to say, without her Country Eye just would not function.
Brian Webster, whose photos form the nucleus of our collection. Lifelong professional naturalist, writer, speaker, broadcaster, his mission is to bring our magnificent countryside alive for you to enjoy.
